SALICIA MAZERO, MA, LPC, ATR, CEDS-C

Specialties: Eating Disorders, Trauma, Clinical Supervision 

Salicia received her Masters of Arts in Art Therapy from Drexel University. She is a licensed professional counselor, registered art therapist and a certified eating disorder specialist and consultant. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and is working towards becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Salicia treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma related disorders.

 

Over the past 13 years, Salicia has worked in two treatment centers focusing on treating eating disorders before transitioning to private practice and starting her own company, Creating Your Journey, LLC. She is the founding president of networkED, an educational and networking non-profit organization for Eating Disorder clinicians. Salicia is a professional member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and currently serves as a consultant to clinicians getting their CEDS. She previously served on the board of directors for the Missouri Eating Disorder Association (MOEDA). Today, she sits on the advisory board of MOEDA and is a presenter for their Feed the Facts program educating students and teachers about eating disorders and prevention in the school system.

She is a faculty member of the Ferentz Institute where she teaches courses on Internal Family Systems (IFS), art therapy and eating disorders. Salicia co-authored a chapter on Art Therapy, IFS and EMDR in the book EMDR and Creative Arts Therapies (2023). She presents nationwide annually on art therapy, IFS, and eating disorder treatment.​

Salicia is also a clinical supervisor for Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and for  clinicians pursuing their Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential. Salicia offers individualized, supportive supervision to help therapist grow in your clinical skills, build confidence, and navigate the complexities of working with eating disorders, trauma, and mental health challenges.

KATIE MASON MSW, LcSW

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Louis University and her Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in the state of Missouri. With a deep passion for mental health and advocacy, Katie has dedicated her career to supporting individuals who have experienced significant life challenges. She has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as individuals struggling with eating disorders. Through her work in these areas, she has developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care that fosters healing and resilience.

 

Katie specializes in working with individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. She understands that each person’s journey is unique, and she tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of her clients. Grounded in trauma-informed and person-centered care, Katie prioritizes creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their experiences without fear of judgment. She recognizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance and strives to establish trust, transparency, and collaboration in her work with clients.

 

Utilizing an empowerment lens, Katie helps individuals regain a sense of control and agency in their lives. She believes that every person has the capacity for growth and transformation, and she works alongside her clients to help them develop the tools and skills necessary for lasting change. Whether addressing the impacts of past trauma, navigating anxiety and depression, or supporting individuals in their journey toward body acceptance and healing their relationship with food, Katie remains deeply committed to fostering resilience and self-compassion in those she serves.

She is passionate about advocating for her clients and promoting mental health awareness in her community. Her ultimate goal is to help individuals build fulfilling, meaningful lives while equipping them with the confidence and strength to move forward with hope and self-assurance.

MARGIE DElgado M.eD, PLPC

Margie received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Webster University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Therapy from University of Missouri–St. Louis. These degrees came later in life after exploring many paths, including serving with AmeriCorps NCCC, the United States Coast Guard, and becoming a mother.

Margie is passionate about supporting individuals through seasons of growth, transition, and self-discovery. Her work focuses on adolescents, emerging adults, and women navigating the complexities of midlife, with a strong emphasis on body positivity, identity development, and emotional resilience.

​

She has a special interest in working with young athletes as they balance performance pressures, self-esteem, and the demands of competition. Margie strives to create a space where clients can explore their relationship with their bodies, build confidence beyond achievement, and develop healthy coping strategies both on and off the field.

In addition to her work with adolescents, Margie supports emerging adults as they navigate life transitions, identity formation, and the uncertainty that often accompanies this stage. She also works closely with women in midlife who may be experiencing shifts in roles, relationships, or self-perception, helping them reconnect with their values and sense of purpose.

Margie’s approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. She draws from evidence-based practices while honoring each individual’s unique story and strengths. She is committed to fostering a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and thrive.

Natalie RoHLFING ED. D, PLPC

Specialties: Eating Disorders, Family Trauma, ADHD

Natalie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. She holds a Master’s degree in School counseling from Lindenwood University and is certified as a School Psychological Examiner. She also has her Doctorate degree in Instructional Leadership from Lindenwood University. She is currently a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) under supervision through Creating Your Journey LLC. 

 

Natalie is currently an elementary school counselor, where she supports students in developing social-emotional skills, managing challenges, and building a strong foundation for lifelong success. She has valuable insight into the academic and developmental needs of adolescents. Prior to this role, Natalie taught middle school math and science as well as STEM.

 

Earlier in her career, Natalie worked with adults with developmental disabilities, an experience that deepened her commitment to meeting individuals where they are and supporting diverse needs with empathy and respect. Her work with children, adolescents, and families has given her a comprehensive understanding of the academic, social, and emotional factors that impact well-being. She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. 

 

She uses evidence-based practices to help clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, stress, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. She is passionate about helping clients build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and develop the skills needed to thrive.

Nicki Fabick M.Ed, PLPC

Nicki is a dedicated and empathetic therapist committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Religious Studies from Mercyhurst University before pursuing her passion for mental health. She went on to earn a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and is now a Provisionally Licensed Counselor under supervision at Creating Your Journey LLC.

 

With extensive experience in anxiety and trauma, Nicki specializes in women’s health therapy, focusing on issues such as body image, infertility, reproductive grief and loss, postpartum depression, pelvic organ prolapse, and general postpartum transitions. As both a therapist and a mother, she understands the deep emotional complexities that accompany these experiences and provides a safe, compassionate, and trauma-informed space for healing.

 

Nicki is certified in Reproductive Grief Care, Gottman Couples Therapy, and has a graduate certificate degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling. She takes a person-centered approach and is currently expanding her practice with Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy to help clients better understand and heal their inner world.
